my daughter is almost three and i think she saw my boyfriend whom she has never met and i having sex. she was supposed to be taking a nap. i am new at parenting my daughter was mainly raised by my parents because i was in college still am it is my last year and has only lived with me three days.Is this going to cause a problem? i know its sounds strange but i worried i tramatized her or something?

My boyfriend wants to meet her but i am not sure she is having a hard time adapting plus he was embarrassed by the situation.

She's 3. I hope she doesn't know what sex is yet.
I suppose it also depends if you and your BF were noisy, rough or doing anything that might make her worried. If she hasn't mentioned it, I wouldn't worry.
I do think that you should introduce your BF slowly as soon as possible.

Unless your daughter brings the issue up I would not mention it. I would proceed just as you normally would with the introduction of your boyfriend. If she does bring it up I would tell he in a very matter of fact way that this was grown up play that she will learn about when she is older. The big thing is your attitude. Don;t make a big deal out of it or it will tend to affect her. If everyone who ever saw adults having sex grew up twisted most of us would be that way.

she will forget. at that age things like that just are not something worth remembering for a two year old or three.
Maybe it would be a good thing for her to meet him. He is with you always and now she will be too. She needs to feel like she belongs. You need to show her nothing but LOVE. oodles of hugs and kisses. the most dramatic part is not you two having sex but living in a new enviroment

Personally I would sit down with her and talk about how you like this guy and he is your boyfriend. You dont need to explain what you were doing, just explain who he is, i think that's what would tramatize her more than anything, its a very "close" act and could frighten her that you are getting hurt

She's three. Kids are surprisingly adaptable. For one, she's not going to understand what she saw, so meeting your boyfriend would probably be a good thing. If by chance she does think he was hurting you or something, meeting him could assuage those fears. However, I strongly doubt she's been traumatized or even thought anything of it.

At three years old, adult sexual intimacy is really not in the mental context for a child. As long as you didn't involve the child in the sex, and stopped what you were doing until your privacy was restored, I don't think anything happened. I mean, that's how babies happen anyway--perfectly natural.

so ok, you just asked a question like 10 minutes ago about helping her adjust. did you not??? anyway she will not be traumatized she won't even remember it in 15 minutes don't make it a big deal....

She's 3 yrs. old Do you really think she knows what you were doing?As far as she knows you could be doing CPR on a friend.Does she know her father? And now that I think of it,what's wrong with having sex with your boyfriend.

i used to get some cramping afterwards. like it felt like something became being pinched. yet you reported you sense like water is leaking..i didnt' have that i might probable circulate see the surgeon. merely in case that is severe. :)
