help! I desperately need to find an old teacher of mine. He has a common first and last name. I know where he used to work obviously, but that school is closed down now. He was also a ministry teacher at a church in another state before he was a teacher but now the church is called something else, although I have the right address. Is there a way to find him based on this information alone? I live in Washington State and his name is Samuel Taylor.

If the teacher had a pension or insurance plan the trustee would know where he is. However, they may not give you the information due to privacy issues. They might forward a letter for you, however.

The Latter Day Saints (Mormons) have a pretty good genealogical data base. Try them as well.
