Can those of you who think that she is being funny abnd has a great sense of humour explain to the rest of us, what is funny about animal cuelty???

I'm afraid I would have to say no I would also make the head teacher aware of this teacher. To me if they can do this to animals what is there to stop them progressing onto children. There are to many weird people in the wold without them teaching our children too!!

She/he is a person and not just a teacher ... they are allowed to have a joke and a sense of humour and yes even allowed to go into chat rooms !
As long as they dont bring their private life into the class room is it really anyone elses business ?

It was most likely a joke...she probably has a dog and refers to it's training as "torture", just as a joke...Stop taking things so seriously and freaking out for some dumb thing...It could also be a fake profile by a student that doesn't like the teacher.

With a sense of humour like tht, it would be a crime not to let her teach my kids.
I warned my students' parents at the start of the year that I hve a warped sense of humour. They understand. I imagine this teacher did the same.

Though I don't know without seeing the profile, I'd assume, being a teenager myself, that it's a fake profile created by a student who doesn't like her.
