Just play it off like a joke and say " haha you don't even know me boy"
or if your a nice person say "I'm not really going to the dance I'm going out somewhere with my friends."

First of all, if you barely know him why did you say yes?!?!

Well, since you're going.... here are some things I thought of to say:

- I love this song don't you?
- Your cologne smells really good, what kind is it?
- So we've never really talked one-on-one, tell me something I should know about you.

Basically, I've learned that if you don't know much about the person you are talking/dancing/etc. with, always get them talking about themselves. It's an easy topic for them AND you learn more about them. Ask questions that spark more of a conversation other than "yes" or "no" or even "uh-huh."

And don't forget to just relaz and have fun, these are supposed to be the best times of your life..... live it up!

Have fun and be safe!

Talk about the place, the music, the food, the chaporones, the homecoming court until you find something in common. You must think he is cute or you wouldnt of said yes. So dress up pretty and fun.......

So, I take it you said you would go. Without knowing him at all? Well, I hope there's some time before homecoming for you to get to know him. Otherwise, get to know him on the dance floor. Ice Breaker, "Why did you ask me to this dance?"

This is one of the best dating questions I have ever come across. It is practical and free of emotional baggage or drama. Here are some topics I would suggest.

Talk about the song to which you are slow dancing:
Do you like this artist/band?
Do you have this artist/band's latest album?
Have you ever seen this artist/band in concert?

Talk about the place you went before you got to the actual prom.
Where did you find out about that restaurant to which you took me? I liked it.
Had you ever been to that restaurant before?
Did you like the pasta/steak/chicken/whatever? Mine was kind of dry but yours looked good.

Talk about what you/he were each doing before he picked you up.
Where did you rent the limo/fancy car?
Where did you learn about that particular limo rental company?
Where did you rent your tux? It is nice.

Did this guy ask you to the prom out of absolutely nowhere or do you two have a class together? If you have a class together you can talk about . . .
So what do you think of our teacher?
So how did you do on the last test?
How do you like the subject?

Good luck.

Talk about general things. The song that`s playing, the weather...

I don`t know. I`ve never had to do it.

You can close your eyes and just sing along (quietly of course). Or talk about the party, the people, plans, etc. If everything goes well maybe just being close and inhaling his smell will be enough...
