If you had your license suspended for 2 years for a DUI...and at the end of two years you get it back..but have to put an interlock system in it...is your license restricted still? Meaning: can you only go to work and back home or can you drive anywhere you want?

unless you are otherwise restricted by probation and assuming your license restriction is lifted upon installation of an interlock device, you can drive wherever you want so long as you use the ignition interlock device to start your car.

Depends on your state, all laws are not the same. Read your paperwork. Can't be your first if your license was suspended for two years. Tell us the rest of the story...

If there are additional restrictions, the judge should have told you at the sentencing. The court clerk should be able to look in your file and find out.

It's used for the prevention of drinking and driving not other restrictions.

it is not restricted any more than that, unless the judge has made other rules. You are under the court orders, So what ever the judge ordered is what you are restricted to.
