Because everyone has a beginning and an end -- birth and death, a person would have difficulty in understanding time.
The human is also at a disadvantage with a narrow perception of time because the beginning and the end are both very sharp contrasts of an event. A moment ago, it was all peace and quiet, then things begin to move. Also, everything just settle down and all the processes end within a split second. These sharp edges catch the human attention.
Beginnings and ends are perceived to have meaning to the human world, but that may not necessary be the case. One could look at time as a continuous flow of beginnings and ends. However, imagine if one could stop, pause, rewind and fast forward to any point of time. We would attribute such a super natural power to "God".
It you could accept the above, you would know that beginning and end are not necessary meaningful.

You know, you're going to get a headache thinking about things like this that have no concrete solutions. Let me try to answer this though.
We as human beings only have the concept of the finite. Infinity is a concept we simply cannot imagine. Our whole lives have witnessed everything that has a beginning and an end.
Perhaps to truly understand the infinity concept, one would have to be like God....in otherwords, a spirit creature. I'm not saying that we should be omnipotent like God, just living in that dimension, in that mind set, may we probably understand what it means to never have a beginning or an end.
Besides God, there could be other situations that have no Beginning or End. The Universe for example. If there's an end to the Universe, what lies beyond that? Makes you feel super insignificant does it.

Here's the thing. Everything we know, has been created. Think about it. Everything we can touch, think about, see, use, drive, eat, etc, has been created. Therefore, it has a beginning and it will have an end.
The Creator, in this case, God, has no beginning and no end because ALL things came from Him. He was never created and therefore will have no end.
You are right to say, something has to come from something. God is that something that all things have come from. He has always been so therefore, he will always be.

It's hard for us to grasp this because it's far from what we know but the Bible says that no one can search God's understanding and that what's possible for God, seeme impossible for man.

Think of it in terms of energy. If you take a coil of wire, and spin it very fast, you get a magnetic field. That's an energy pattern.
The universe resonates and moves and spins as well, and from that it created an energy pattern, which over time developed consciousness. That is God.

A Virgin gave birth to a child, and his name was called Jesus.
Remember, God created spacetime. He was here 'before' time began. Think about that. He inhabits hyperspace. Or maybe He IS hyperspace. Regardless, time is His creation, and therefore, he is outside of it. The question has no meaning.

we're the ones that 'got' here. God didn't have to because he was already here. I think there's so much we will not understand here. even the smartest men on earth are scratching their heads with quantam physics, but we haven't been able to even time travel.
