Just as an experiment, I gave a christian-sounding answer to a question just to see how many thumbs up I could get. I ended up with 6 up and 1 down!

I find just the opposite to be the case. I see answers that have biblical quotes get just about the same amount of thumbs down as up- it also depends on the question- how it's worded will make an impact on who is attracted- if it is serious, then the Bible quoters will find themselves amongst likeminded people. If it is antagonistic then I see more thumbs downs for the Bible quoters. For me, if they are claiming to quote the Biblew, I look it up first, if it is quoted correctly and is relevant to the question I will give a thumbs up- if it is quoted incorrectly or out of context (which here it often is) and is not relevant to the question then thumbs down it is .

I think that most of us would agree, if we are honest with ourselves, that we don't agree with everything that Scripture says. By saying, "According to the Bible" or "according to God's Word", we are giving the credit where credit is due. I didn't make it up. The Bible states everything we need to live a life of joy. Somethings I wish weren't true, but that doesn't mean I have ownership of the concept.
It's all about the honesty.

Because it is the Divine truth, infallible in argument and Divinely inspired, THE ultimate piece of literature in the world?
Most Christians who use Yahoo answers get such high ratings and Best Answers simply because their belief means they are more level-headed, and less judgemental of answers.

According to the bible is a saying that people who have no chance of justifying an argument will use to justify an argument. !?!.

Oh well....... at least they believe in belief, and admit it. Rather than the truth (which is against their belief)
