Are you looking for a serious relationship? If so then dating an older man may be a better choice because they are done with all the games that immature boys play. In being your friend, you do run the risk of loosing the friendship if the two of you break up. It's not wrong to date an older man, considering that you are over the age of 18, there's just a lot more involved.

My wife is ten years younger than me, and we've raised two beautiful kids, we get along fabulously, and plan to live long and love well from this moment on. Just realize that you need not rush into anything hot 'n heavy. I'm sure you can find a way to let him know how you feel and for him to respond to it. That's all you need to do right now. Once you have both made it clear how you feel, then you can discuss, without pressure, where you would like to see the relationship go.

It depends on how old you are... 10 years older is nothing if you're 25 and he's 35, but it's a felony if you're 15 and he's 25.

My husband and I are 8 years apart, and my parents are 10 years apart. Age is just a number!

Women are starting to realize that older men are actaully better for them versus younger boys. These women have discovered that older men are more mature and dont play the games that boys do.

So 10 years is about right, go for it and enjoy yourself. You'll find that its actually pretty great. Wish more of you younger ladies woke up !!!

Depends on the ages in question...
If he's 40 and you're 30... no problem.
If he's 30 and you're 20... chances are it will lbe fun for a while but won't last long-term*
If he's 20 and you're 10.... BIG problem.
Get it?

*because you will change a LOT in the next couple of years

Yes.I think you should. It's always better to date a guy around 10 years older then you because girls mature faster then boys so he should be mature. My dad is 11 years older then my mom and they have been together forever.

age is just a number, as long as he treats you right, go for it. Don't let friends or family judging him or you for choosing him, be the decision you make for being with him. Do what makes you happy, and if thats with you dating/marrying an older guy, go for it!

If you are under 18, no, it is not okay. Wait until you are in your 20's before you start dating older guys.
