It sure doesn't hurt at all!!! I was such a baby about it, and it really was nothing. It feels like something is on your eyeball at first, because a contact is on your eyeball! No pain though sweetie. I promise.

~Big baby w/ contacts ;)

I got contacts about a year or so ago. i was really nervous too. i was afraid it would hurt..but it doesnt hurt at all. I cant even feel them. and they are extremely easy and comfy. it cant roll in the back of your head because once they are in your eye they stay in one spot unless you yourself move it. it cant make your vision worse. your vision might get worse and you'll need a higher prescription of contacts but it is not because of the contacts. deffinatley give them a try. it is the best desicion I have ever made!!

No they don't hurt or anything. They can't roll back in your head. Few things though if you cry with them in they get blurry and make you more tired so you have to just wash them in the contact solution then put them back in. And don't forget to take them out at night. I've worn them for 9 years.

It doesn't hurt at all...just make sure that you take care of them. If you don't, then an eye infection can hurt, yes, but that is not caused by the actual contact...it is caused by the wearer not doing the routine maintenance.

nothing bad happens. they cant roll back cause they have no where to go.. they stay in place cause theyre fitted.

they dont feel like anything. but sometimes they get dry which is annoying but its okay as long as you have eyedrops.

dont sleep with them in though because it makes them hard to take out.

they wont cause any problems as long as you keep them clean. ive been wearing contacts since i was 12

No - they don't hurt at all. Your not a wimp, it's just something you haven't tried yet. They are much better than glasses (as glasses are a pain in the butt- ) I forget that mine are even in.

everyones suggestions and information is great...

but i would like to add that if you get contacts be extra careful when applying makeup and get makeup especially for contact lens wearers like Almay mascara... getting regular mascara in your eye with a contact lens is very uncomfortable and can make your eyes water like crazy, which ruins all your eye makeup!

oh! and if you have ANY doubts about how clean your lens is... DO NOT put it in your eye... i did that and ended up with conjunctivitis so bad on my birthday i couldn't even see! :(

also DO NOT ever spit on your lenses or use tap water.... bacteria bacteria bacteria!!! YUCK!

no, they dont usually hurt. No they cant roll into your head...and no it cant worsen your vision. Sometimes they get dry and uncomfortable but usually its fine. Ive worn them for about 10 years now. I love them.
