i was doin som research for skool (7th grader) and som1 said dat we hardly know anything about our earth and that we know more about space..... im wondering how thats possible

well....scientists cant observe our Earth directly...its too hot...all we can do.... is dig into it until it gets too hot to go any farther...and thats just a little ways. and people have already done that. we mostly just observe wats on it....we cant really do anything about it unless technology comes up with something so we cant feel the heat and wont break...idk. but thats just the way it is....

Geologists obviously don't look at our earth for 24 hours but NASA constantly explores space with 24/7 sattelites. There is no noteworthy international group that studies that Earth as NASA studies space as well.

space is easier to get to and study and there is nothing on Earth that can go deep in Earth except diamonds but those are only found in fragments and none are big enough to make a drill to dig deep

your friend is wrong, we do know a lot more about this earth than outer space.
