I heard they don't downscale very well so they aren't so hot with resolutions that aren't 1080p. anybody know anything about them?

I don't see a 1080p from Sony that compares in price, the cheapest I have found is $2154. (from what looks like a crappy vendor). Anyone use this tv connected to a pc?

Never liked them. Wouldn't recommend them to anybody. Spend the extra $100 or $200 for a brand name system.

If your going to spend hundereds or thousands on a TV, buy name brand. The only brand that is not too known that delivers great picture quality and reliability is Vizio.
