I bought a muonth ago a nikon coolpix..it's 8 mega pixels..but what I don't like that it's shutter speed not satisfying to me...
it has the panorama feature...you can put a 2GB memory in it that I really apreciat..
can take movie shots with sound..
there are alot of nikon coolpix I forgot what's the numbeer of mine...
I bought it for (1300 divided by 3.75 to convert to U.S. dollars)
thanks for answering my question about groups..you're the only one who answerd...but why didn't you name one group @ least..the best one you know??!!

Never seen 8 megs at that price. Under $300? Try lowering your expectations to less than 4 or 5 megs. And, if you want a "best" camera for that price, you are still talking around 3 megs.

are you making poster and murals other than that you would never need a 8 mega pixel camera?

i don't think that you are going to find an 8 megapixal camera for that price. the cheapest that i have seen is $700. i just brought 6 megapixal camera from canon and its awesome, and it was only $349.

8mp for $300, it will have to be some off-brand junk.
