If you gave him the cologne, and he knows, and didn't say anything; then that is bad news. If he is losing interest in the relationship; sorry. Or, he just might be really bad with dates. I am horrible with dates, birthdays, and all that jazz. Yet, I do things to manage that, because I know how important some dates are to other people. I don't think the silent treatment is going to work. I would just talk to him about it; and separate the bull$#%& from the truth. Tell him how important it is to you. And, find out how he feels about the date. After that, figure out how it affects you and the relationship. And, go from there. In the end, you know him the best. It could represent a lot of different things. Best case scenario; he just doesn't remember dates. Worst case scenario; he just doesn't care about the relationship. But, don't mistake not caring about a day in the year equaling not caring about the relationship. Hope things work out.

i didn't buy my bf anything, i made him something... like a small album with pictures from our most important times... our first date... out first month aniversary, the first time we went in the mountains together and so on. You only need few things and little cost: a few colored pages - one for each photo, glue, to stick the pages, some material, to cover the spots where you sticked the pages - here you can also draw stuff, like hearts or smth similar or just stick european car stamps and, of course, pictures of you two. For me it worked...

Oh what? He said that? He is just one horn dog. Maybe you should do a lap dance on him for the 2 year anniversary.
