how do we know if muhamed really brought the prophesies of allah, how do we know if budha actually found eternal enlightment or if jesus wasnt really the messiah. what makes christianity more real??

Buddhism does not require blind faith, just an open mind. Buddhas wise words are proof enough for me that he was enlightened.

We don't, that is why there is so much strife about it in this world. Faith serves nothing but to set people at opposition with each other. You can see this by some fundamentalist Christians setting them selves in opposition to science, when they are not even in the same ball park. Science is simply the observation of the physical universe. The sky needs no ones faith to be blue.

God hasn't asked man to have blind faith on weather Jesus is the Christ or not.. He has given us evidence, strong evidence. It is then a matter of whether or not you will except that evidence. One of the best is found in Psalms 22:12-18
Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.
For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.
I have been told many times that Jesus manipulated His life to make it appear that He was the fulfillment of many Bible prophecies. This one would have been hard to self fulfill. Hanging there on the cross in agony I don't think anyone would say "Guys don't tear that coat shoot dice for it" Even this is not proof, but it is a reason for faith.. Jim
