I have seen it also but sexual harassment does not just mean physical Verbal assaults or inquiries also count. and yes corporations can take it out of context and play dumb. their the ones putting everyone through these training courses on it, yet they do not know what it means or that it pertains to not just to a woman vs. a man but also a man vs. a woman. I also wonder sometimes where everyone's manners go in the workplace. Lets show some respect for one another and we will not have this problem.

I think it is totally unfair the way men get ribbed or ridiculed if they try to complain that a woman is sexually harassing them. I understand that it is much easier for a man to be more physically threatening to a woman than it is the other way round but sexual harassment isn't always about actual physical acts.
I knew a guy who complained to his superiors at work about the unwanted attentions of his female team leader. They took it seriously enough and he was awarded compensation. However, all his mates totally took the mick out of him. He was so upset over the whole incident that he even appeared on the Kilroy show to talk about his experiences. This made his mates even worse than before.
The issue should be dealt with in an equally serious manner by employers whichever way round it happens and make it clear that none are acceptable behaviour.

That's one thing I don't like about today's society; women have suddenly become these blameless paragons of virtue, capable of doing no wrong while all men are ruled by their libido. Bullshit.
There's definitely a double standard. My cousin (he's 22) works at Princeton; one of his coworkers (female) kept on rubbing up against his crotch, leaving obscene messages on his computer, etc. When he filed a harrassment claim, management laughed at him. Not only that, but the woman just said, "He groped me!" They didn't ask my cousin anything, just assumed he was guilty of something and yelled at him.

So actual and witty yet i think it relatively is all approximately context, too. evaluate those situations. If a girl boss substitute into speaking grimy to a male (or woman) worker it would be seen sexual harassment merely the comparable. it extremely is extra approximately employing you place to ask for sexual favours. additionally women human beings have been arrested for breast feeling in public - it extremely is indecent exposure to a pair. additionally keep in mind there are golf equipment the place women human beings pass to make certain men take off their clothing - it relatively is suitable in that context.

It does happen...But I've been hit on by both men and women at work. It was wierd. After being hit on my a same sex co-worker, getting sexually harrased by a woman felt good...almost. She only had like six teeth (of "teef" as she pronounced it).
it was also weird.

It's sad but true. A lot of the time things women do are worse but "unbelievable" to management.

There are lots of double-standards.....men are pimps, women are sluts.....men are pedophiles, women are lonely....men can't beat up women, and we also can't get beat up by a woman.....men are sissies, women are feminine....men are lazy, women are stay-at-home women.....men are gay, women are tomboys...it never ends....
