I read this in a health article... just wondering cuz ive got the flu and I love onions.

No you can not kill a virus this way at all. That is why doctors usually do not prescribe and antibiotic for a viral infection.....UNLESS someone has an underlying medical condition.

That would be a no!! A virus cannot be killed by antibiotics so sure as God made little green apples, onions will not combat the flu virus. If you are prone to flu then you need to increase minerals and vitamins such as zinc and vitamin c, don't go too mad though coz you don't want a vitamin toxicity going on. Onions that had honey or brown sugar and left to drain overnight allegedly helped with sore throats.

Yes - both onions and garlic are the healthies herbs on earth and girls won't eat them. That is why the girls are always sickly.

No it's a bunch of made up bologna, nothing can combat it!!!!
