One of my good friends as acted different around me lately. Last year she would talk to me, steal my hat on occasion put her arm over me every once in a while. Then I come back to school and she rests her arm on my knee, steals my hat and wears it for as long as she can. Gave me a new necklace when my old one broke. I put my hand on her shoulder and she flat out hugged me. Once, I had a small hole in my shirt and she starts ripping it wider. Doodes on my notebook. But my diemma is that she does hug some other of her friends but not nearly what ive been getting. Constantly smiles. Her favorite person qualities fit my description
The thing is thatis she just being more deeply friendly or does she like me
but shes bi and has asked out her best friend

It sounds like she likes you. Maybe you should try taking her on a non-date date, like go to the movies or dinner alone and see if you can find out what she's looking for. Does she actually have a relationship with her best friend or does it seem more like a phase? Maybe you can date her but not exclusively (although I don't know how that would actually work out!)

it sounds like she is a really great friend and you have to ask yourself it you want to try to further it since there is always the chance of the backfire. i wouldnt go rushin in anything, ask her to go to a movie, or have dinner. better yet, watch a movie at your place and see what she does. if she leans to you, put your arm around her. if she looks at you with puppy eyes, tell her she is beautiful. make it so she almost has to make the first move and then you make it. believe me, ive been with a girl that is bi, doesnt change a thing about how they react to when a guy shows them attention.

From reading the description of what your friend does, it sounds like to me that she does like you. Or she finds you really hot. But I could be wrong. Maybe she wants you to think she is bi to hide her feelings for you. Maybe she is trying to reach out to you for you to get the hint that she maybe likes you, and wants you to take action. But maybe you have your signals mixed. And maybe she is just being more deeply friendly because she cares about you. But I am convinced that she likes you.
