God is the self-existent, eternal one. He has no beginning and no end. Nobody created Him. He just is.

It doesn't really seem wierd to me. I think that the concept that God has always existed is the only rational answer to everything.

Christians reason that God is eternal because He says He is eternal. When Moses asked God "who shall I say sent me" He was told "I AM THAT I AM" Meaning I am all that has been, all that is, and all that will ever be.

Atheists reason that all life began at the beginning of time when there was a cosmic explosion called the BIG BANG. Before the BIG BANG there was nothing and then there was suddenly something. Please explain what was before there was something. Their answer is there was nothing. Please explain what it was like for there to be nothing. And if there was a time (well then there was really no time because there was nothing) when there was nothing where did the something come from.

But possibly there has always been something. Then what force acted upon this something to cause it to explode at the BIG BANG. No physical reaction is possible to a steady state unless an outside energy acts upon the steady state. Where did this energy come from.

Now if you're with me this far let me take you a little further. Travel with me in a space ship to the very edge of the universe. To the last place in the physical universe where any matter exists. Stop your spaceship and look out from that point. What is out there when you are standing at the very edge of the universe. The answer is nothing. Well how far does nothing go? How would it be possible to stretch out your hand past this point into nothing? If you stretch your hand out past that point then there is something there. Ok then, how far can you go to get to the end of nothing. It's mind boggling!

We have to admit there is more than the physical world. Just by the nature of the universe there must be a place where man is not. Where physical is not. Where our understanding is not capable of explanation. To me that explains there is a spiritual realm beyond what we can see and touch. That is the realm in which God exists.

There are just some concepts that cannot be explained without the existence of God.

God has no beginning or end, because He has always existed. As the Bible says, "Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God" (Psalm 90:2).
To get an idea of the character of God I encourage you to look at God's Son, Jesus Christ. He is God in human flesh. Start by reading the Gospel of John. God loves you. He wants to know you. Commit your heart to Christ today.

God is God, He just exist, before God was the word and the word was with God, nobody created him, our Father is a supreme being, as in a Holy Spirit, for example the air around us exist, it's naturally there, and so is God. Read Genesis Chapter 1.

God was God from the beginning. He was not created.

John 1

Christ, the Eternal Word

1 In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. 4 Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone. 5 The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

The LORD in the Beginning of His Way
Proverbs 8:1-36 -

Wisdom was with the LORD in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. The LORD possessed Wisdom; Wisdom was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was (Prov.8:22-23 below).

When there were no depths, Wisdom was BROUGHT FORTH; when there were no fountains abounding with water; before the mountains were settled, before the hills Wisdom was brought forth (Prov.8:24-25 below).

While as yet He (the LORD – Prov.8:22 below) have not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world; when He prepared the heavens, Wisdom was there: when He set a compass upon the face of the depth; when He established the clouds above: when He strengthened the fountains of the deep. When He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass His commandment: when He appointed the foundations of the earth, then Wisdom was by the LORD as one brought up with Him: and Wisdom was the LORD’s delight daily, Wisdom rejoicing always before Him. (Prov.8:26-30 below).

Prov.8:22 The LORD possessed me (wisdom) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

Prov.8:23 I (wisdom) was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

Prov.8:24 When [there were] no depths, I WAS BROUGHT FORTH (Prov.8:25 below); when [there were] no fountains abounding with water.

Prov.8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills WAS I BROUGHT FORTH:

Prov.8:26 While as yet he (God) had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

Prov.8:27 When he (God) prepared the heavens, I [was] there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

Prov.8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

Prov.8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

Prov.8:30 Then I was by him, [as] one brought up [with him]: and I was daily [his] delight, rejoicing always before him;

As finite physical creatures with a "beginning" we tend to limit our understanding of all things to that standard. But God is a different kind of being, not human, with a different nature. He created the physical universe and all that is in it, thus, the nature of His being operates outside of the limitations of His creation (i.e. time and space). The only alternative is that matter is eternal and "science "knows that's not true.

I don't know, but I do believe in God. In the Bible it does say that he is the alpha and the omega, the begining ant the end, but I don't know because people, in Genesis it does talk about other gods. But it says God Jehova is the only one we're supposed to worship. I don't know who created God or how he came to be, I just know that he is.

You're assuming God had a beginning to begin with. Something that has simply always been has no need for something to create it. It's like the concept of infinity, you just can't quite get your head around it.

Yes, it is weird.

If there is indeed a Creator, and there is another Creator that created the Creator, then who created the Creator who created the Creator?

Now, if that sounds silly to you, think about this.

If all of what we see exists, the entire Universe that we are aware of, and if it indeed started with a Big Bang and some pinpoint of something that exploded to create the Universe...

then where did that pinpoint of something come from and what did it do before it went Bang?!

Why does anything exist at all?

Then there is the matter of Infinity...
