It doesn't matter what movie you watch, he is only going to have sex on the brain. So if you put on notebook, he will be thinking sex, if you put on 40yr old virgin, he will be thinking sex. So why bother just do it. And then watch a movie.

I've been with my fella for over 4 years now, and I had to FORCE him to watch "The Notebook". I loved it, but he was less than thrilled. Try t get a movie that you'll both enjoy. Maybe a thriller or scary movie. It'll give you an excuse to cuddle up next to him.

It all depends on what kind of man he is. I am not saying that he wouldn't like the Notebook, because my man and I loved it. But I would try something funny first. The Notebook is a very sad romantic movie. So rent something funny or action packed.

That's a lil' to "chick flickish" for the first home movie date. Stick with a classic comedy, it'll lighen the jitters & help you two to relax!! Save the love movies for the girls nites or at least wait till you two have been dating awhile! Good Luck!

I liked The Notebook. However, that is a chick flick. And most guys would rather see something other than a chick flick. But then again, if it puts you in a romantic mood, we'd watch paint dry.

Go for more of an action genre. No Chick Flick, nothing too male orientated.

Both of these movies involve sex... I think you should choose something that has nothing to do with sex... So that it wont be on his mind, try a new disney movies or something...
