There are many "holier than thou" preachers and hypocrites out there that are going to throw fire and brimstone at you and tell you about so called "tests". Forget about tests, forget about the Book Of Job, the guy was a complete idiot, or the story is a crock of fudge invented to scare you into submission.
Just be a kind, decent., and good person and live the life you want to live, and forget the angels. (never figured how human forms with chicken feathers could achieve flight with such a short wingspan and wouldn't there be a more efficient way of transport in an afterlife?)

PSALM 105:19 NKJ
19 Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.
God's Word is our test -- whether we will believe it and act on it, or not.
Actually, all of this life is a test. In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus told a parable to tell us this truth. We are being prepared for a great future!
Learning and growth involves testing. Testing lets you know how you are doing. If you are not doing so well, turn to God, asking for His help. Spend more time in God's Word and in prayer.
Remember that God is for you -- He is on your side. He sent His Word, His Holy Spirit, His angels, and His ministers to help you.
The following are some of the Scriptures showing that God does test people.

In the Book of Job, there was a challenge made between Satan and God regarding the faith of Job (to me it is some kind of a test). Then, try reading Exodus in the life of Abraham when God asked him to sacrifice his son Isaac.
Although most of the time in the Old Testament there is always a Blessing and a Curse given as an alternative for the FREE WILL he gave man. A Blessing if he follows God's command and a Curse if one disobeys his Laws. From Saul to David To Solomon, there were Blessings and there were Curses. And the seemingly abandoment of Israel and Judea in its latter days for having Kings who have done evil in His eyes is most likely a test. I would say even if He gives FREE WILL to man, there is still that test on whether we would prefer to follow His commands or choose not to.

Not necessarily with angels but your everyday stuff going wrong and not working out and money problems and relationship issues and barking dogs and people saying you're ignorant and bigotted because of your Christianity and....etc....
Trials and tribulations come with both a purpose and a reward. "Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him" (James 1:2-4,12).

Throughout history God has tested individuals & nations. He's interested not only in what we say but what we do. "Testings" can be confused with "trials". They may feel the same but have different origins. "Trials" are like rain, they come to everyone whether "good" or "bad". Sometimes it's merely reaping what we've sown but other times it's appears unprovoked. I always ask myself if I'm being "persecuted" or "prosecuted"."Testings" can be for our ultimate good, designed to bring out the best response inside of us (see Isa 48:10 etc.). Jesus was "tested"; if he needed it, it's to imagine we don't!

God allows us to go through trial and tribulation to bring us closer to him. I believe that He will test our faith to him. In testing it is also teaching. We learn more about ourselves and God when we are tested. DO angels test us...I am not sure. I think it is a situational thing. What am I going to learn today, what test?
God bless. I hope you pass

It is not that God tests us, it is that God allows things into our lives that test us.
