I got to a highschool in Michigan dubbed the largest in Michigan and third largest in the U.S. "Anchor Bay High School". I walk through the front doors, upstairs, across the school, then walk all the way down stairs and across the school again, then back upstairs and across the school again just for my first three classes carrying a 45 pound backpack. Not to mention, I have 5 minutes to get to my classes; I usually get to each class when the class bell is about to ring in about 30 seconds; so I just make it. Is this a lot of exercise? Add that with walking to the bus stop ( not far ) but then after school walking to the bus ( fairly far ). I don't stop and talk along the way, either.

Its good to make some lifestyle changes (join a sport, take up an active hobby lke running, etc.) because what about when you graduate from your school? and lets say your workplace won't be as big so you wont be walking as much? Even if you're doing enough walking now, its not enough to keep you active throughout your life.

Yes it's excerise, but "enough" exercise is variable. IE: If you are concerned about weight gain, then is a comparison of calorie intake compared to the calories you are burning in a day. Most sources will say that 20-30 minutes of physical activity (pushing up your heart rate, maybe a little sweat :) ) is sufficient for most people and can make a big difference in your overall health.

It is recommended that you exercise for 30 continuous minutes, three times a week. I think the whole point of exercising is keeping your heart rate up.
It's great that you're moving around so much at school, but it should be steady movement for 30 minutes or more to be conisdered exercise.
It's still better than laying on the couch at home watching soap opera's using a rag on a stick to clean oneself. LOL

I would'nt necessarily call this exercising, instead I would call this being active and this is great. This is all good for you and it will help. It just all depends on what you want for yourself. Do you want to maintain how you are? Are you satisfied with your fitness level? If you say yes to all these, then this is enough, because it keeps you moving and active. I wish all my clients would move around this much during the day!
Be sure to watch how you're eating too, as being active and foods all go together.

Well, anything is better than nothing, but if you want to actually be healthy I would shoot for things that make you break a sweat and last at least 30 minutes.

30-45 minutes of brisk walking a day is good enough, but why stop there? Keep it up!

it's really not enough. i lived in New York and walked everywhere but still went to the gym. Try to go to the gym or join a sport. That will keep you in good shape.

Get a pedometer and measure it - I bet it's not as far as you think.
Unless it's at least 10,000 steps, it's not enough.
