I've heard stories about friends or groups of friends masturbating each other as a mutual favor, even thought none of them were gay. Anybody know of others who have done it, or have you been involved? Female examples definately welcome.

as a female, i am not sure what to think..
common sense tells me that these men who "on the downlow" secretly have sex and partake in sexual experiences with other men must, at the very least, be bisexual..
but men can also have sex without it meaning anything.. so perhaps to the male species these acts arent really homosexual or bisexual.. just fun sexual..
i have heard lots of stories online about this being done but i havent actually met anyone who admits to be involved in these type of practices..
in the end, the only thing i can really say for sure is: i wish i had friends like that!

You missed the point of a circle jerk.
A REAL circle jerk has a 'jerk'. Everyone PRETENDS to be masturbating except the jerk who doesn't know the game. It is a humiliation initiation thing. At least, it is supposed to be. Masturbating is something done on your own. Once you bring someone of the opposite to a climax you have crossed into gay territory, or bi, whatever you choose. Is it that you have done this and are wondering if people will think you are gay now? Straight men do not, will not jack off another guy.
