I live in south America and in my school (Jewish school) the teacher that teaches Hebrew does it so badly and with so many mistakes it makes me want to pull my hair off, grammar, spelling and vocabulary mistakes. What should I do? I don't want to offend her in front of the whole class...

Wow, that is a tough one. I had a Spanish class where a Native Spanish speaker was in the class, and my teacher was glad to receive that student's help on certain things.

In my choir class, we sung a Hebrew song, Hanerot Halalu, and the pronunciation given was incorrect, but we just so happened to have an Israeli exchange student who was able to point out the mistakes. We were all thrilled to have a native there so we could sing the song correctly.

It will depend on your teacher's personality, whether she has a problem with ego or not. But she really doesn't need to take offense. Of course a native Hebrew speaker is going to know better than she. She should welcome your input. If I were you, I'd try speaking to her after class with some corrections, and see how she reacts.

behatzlakhah (is that good luck?)

Just as i answered a similar question a few minutes ago.
The teacher is teaching. Some want to learn.
If you disrupt the class making fun of the teacher or putting down the teacher you aren't helping anyone.
Get through the class. If you know Hebrew show the teacher what outstanding work you can do.

Oh! I feel for you.

Is there a principal you can talk to? Or your Rabbi may be able to say something. Your school is probably connected with a Synagogue. I know speaking Hebrew and learning it for reading Torah are two different things--------but! It is not fair to the other students, if they are in a situation where they want to speak it.

Or, you may just have to bite your tongue and grit your teeth, in order to keep from saying something. Just do your written work, talk as little as possible, and keep quiet might be all you can do.

I think that if you care for the groups education in Hebrew you should let her know, subtly, where she's wrong, without making her look like a dumbass.
If you don't care (which is most likely) just get your A-grade (or whatever it's called in South America) and to hell with it.

Do you think that maybe you are the one with the mistakes? If you are not, then I would go to my parents you would go to the school board and have something done. I would also look into if my other teachers were equally as bad at their subjects. I would not want to go to school when they do not hold their teachers at high regards.

Do the second best thing - offend her in private. In all honeesty though, you should probably say something in spite of the class being present. Sometimes embarrassment is necessary and proper as long as you're not going out of your way to cause it.

Attempting to teach the teacher is probably not a good idea. Use your knowlege to get a good grade and move on.
