The word of God says that this heaven and earth will pass away. It will be destroyed. Then there will be a new heaven and earth in which there will be no evil.

Praying for what is not available is a waste of time, better to pray for things that are available. And if you are so disheartened by the ways of the world, why not do something to change things? Why not get born again of God and go around healing, delivering, setting free. It's what Jesus Christ came to make available to us.

Are you crazy?
Do you ask this question to screw with the minds of "THE" believers.
What a smug bunch they are, I'm referring to some of the answers you've had.

Oh, and did you know in the bible belt," Crazy USA." There is now a sect called Enders. Evidently they can't wait for Armageddon, so that the evil millions of unbelievers such as myself who try their best to do good without the aid of a God, can go to Hell in a hand basket.

I really do like Americans in general, but it's getting dangerous for the Many. In the mid west they are talking about not teaching Creationism to school children, and this is backed buy Bush. Are we going to have future generations of Christian fundamentalists all over again? Mighty dangerous I'd say.

If God exists then the rebirth of the earth will begin in the next 1000 years, and take several million years to complete.

Rapid climate change, dwindling resources and population explosion and then colapse, will lead to the end of the human race.

Of course if God doesn't exist then things may be different.

Well, he's planning to kill us all anyway, apart from a few sycophants. That's the underpinning message of most Xtian cults, so he'd probably ignore us, as he does most prayer, and continue working in mysterious ways.

If that is what God meant for to happen, then yes, He maybe would do so(your second question relates to my answer for the first question).
