Olive Garten, and Red Lobster, I don't know if you have them in New Haven or not. If you're into chinese the King Bafae is the best, me and my hubby LOVE the chinese buffets

Traditional Romantic would be Amalfi Grill. Good food, old Italian feel. Others may include 500 Blake and Tre Scalini.
Trendy Romantic would be Bentara.
Different romantic would be the loft table where you sit on the floor at Zaroka Indian Restaurant. Great food. : )
My personal choices would be Bentara or Amalfi.

you should come to New York city, see a play on Broadway then take your hubby to The View(make sure to make a reservation), it's pretty cool, kinda of expensive but it's cool. It turns around giving you the whole view while you enjoy a glass of wine. I also recommend Victor's cafe,,,great place to eat
