Because you are trying to live in your own strength. You need to have faith in God that he can save you and live to please him. When you do that you will no longer worry about your circumstances but praise God for all the blessings he will give you. I do not guarantee you will not have trials, you will - but you will learn how God cares for you.

I feel this way sometimes too..You gotta look at all that you do have. You can read. You have access to a computer, so you must have some means-electricity, knowledge, and ability to get on and use a computer. You (we if you are in the US) have it so good here.....sometimes you just gotta be grateful for what you have and realize a lot of people would give their left arm to electricity and plumbing and the ability to "surf the net". Even literacy. Things may seem hard, but they could be a lot worse...you probably have much to be thankful for...i try to focus on that! I have a job a roof over my head my son is able to attend school, I don't have to worry if we are going to eat or not...we may not be eating steak every night, but we don't go hungry, and that is a lot in this world! Think about it and try to look around and count your blessings!

usually i find that the person who has a problem being "good" is rebelling against themselves.
when someone has done something that they believe is so bad, even if they were forced to do it, they come under the false impression that God will not or cannot forgive them.
they begin to wreck relationships that have existed for years and avoid relationships for more than a very short time. the easyist way to break a relationship is to tick off the person or persons you want to avoid. they will avoid you, usually no matter what you do to reconcile, so your theory proves itself.
dont fret. not only will God forgive you, if that is the issue, He will also bring back into your life, the friends and family that you had, and strengthen your relation with them, as long as the relation is fruitful.

The only thing you can do is try to make things better in your current situation. Only you can make the difference for yourself. You may live right, and do good things, but that pride and righteousness can shield you from doing even more positive things for yourself and others. Keep living and doing well. Probably because you are expecting some reward. Being good is its own reward. There is no bargaining power involved. Stop worrying about the score and enjoy seeing the gratitude on the faces of those you help. Only then you will start attracting good things to you and you will ultimately get your reward.

Because the world doesn't work like that. You can be the best person in the world all the time... that won't change circumstance. There is no force overseeing any kind of karmic justice, things just happen.
