Two slices of grain bread buttered on one side. At least two slices of your favorite cheese. Spread some jalapeno peppers on the cheese. Put it all together and grill both sides to an even brown. Then enjoy with a cold glass of milk and some chips.

Bruschetta is the best way ever. Firstly place some extra virgin olive oil in a bowl, add frehly ground sea salt, freshly ground black pepper and chopped fresh basil leaves - stir. I use ciabatta sliced lenghthways, grill on both sides, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil then rub with a split garlic clove. Place mozarella on top and grill until just starting to bubble and turn golden brown. Take off grill and immediately top with freshly sliced vine tomatoes and drizzle with the olive oil mixture. Serve immediately. This is my favourite food of all time.

On rye bread with Swiss cheese. I butter both sides of the bread, and use either a grill machine or a very hot skillet. Sometimes I add tomatoes.

Of course the bread makes up 50% .. so a good marble rye or sourdough with parmesan works for me... The cheese has to be muenster, provolone & swiss with a very thin layer of sour cream spread on half of the bread before putting it together. Place in the fry pan with PURE butter spread on both outer halves and toast to perfection. . . Not to dark... YOU BRAT !! now I am drooling.... and have to make one, sure glad I keep all this in the freezer for moments just like this. : ) Happy grilling !

With a few thin slices of tomato and extra sharp cheddar cheese on caraway rye bread, spread with Miracle Whip on the inside and real butter on the outside.
Grill it until it's nice and golden brown and the cheese is sort of gooy. Serve it up with some cream of tomato soup, a couple of good crisp dill pickles, and a nice big cold glass of milk. . .now that is SOME good! :-)

Try grilling lunch meat (chicken breast, salami, ham, Prosciutto di Parma, etc.) with cheese, and butter the outside of the bread with an herb butter- absolutely the best!!

I like it with rye bread and bacon. I put butter in the pan and grill it and flip it. Yummy. By the way, I only do this once a year or so, too much and I'd get fat!
