What's WITH those five thousand word answers that some people cut-n-paste???? Do they really think anybody takes the time to read ALL THAT?

I mean...is it just me, or is that REALLY annoying?

Blaze, that's a fair comment. But if I was interested in researching a topic...I wouldn't be doing it on Y!A. LOL This isn't a research site - it basically IS a chatroom.

Larry S., making assumptions like that just makes you look silly. I AM a christian, ya goofball! Do you really think that preaching long-winded sermons at people is going to make them come around to your way of thinking? That's not how Jesus taught people... You should follow the example of the one you are professing to be following. Thumbs down to you.

It should only annoy you if you don't want the answer to a question.

Naturally, there are some in here who cut and paste an answer that has nothing at all to do with the question asked, but others who have some relevant information use it to pass that information on. I happen to like that better than them posting the link, since I have been burned in the past by links that have been posted.

Some people do actually read what the other person posted. You aren't being very open minded by reading some and not others posts.
Some people actually take the time to research and back up their answer.

Maybe you should go to a chat room instead.

Sometimes its annoying. But people who does that cut ad paste just want to answer questions with proof taken from ,usually, Quran and Bible. Otherwise, if they can't back it up, they would be accused of cheating, lying or whatever that my come to the minds of this forum. Here's a tip, ask only question whose answers won't need to be quoted from the books but from personal experience and knowledge.

If someone wants to know a critical answer. I will give it. If I have to give detailed info to defend Jesus Christ or God's Word. I will do it.
I guess if you don't like it, don't read it. When Yahoo puts a kilobyte limit on ALL of us, we'll all have the same disadvantage. huh

Good Q*.

I sure hope and pray they do for I am one of them. I cut and paste to take the opportunity to witness for the Lord Jesus Christ as the one and only true and living God who can forgive, remove and cleanse humans from all their sins. If that offends you, I'm sorry. If you do not come to know Jesus Christ as the only one who can forgive , remove and cleanse you from all your sins, it may be that one moment after you die you will wish that you had taken the time to read some of those cut & pasters. I've given you a two weeks break while on vacation. Be thankful for small favors. God bless you. I hope and pray that you come to know Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Savior from all your sins before you die.

that is why I like the new feature of the "thumbs up" vote thing. Like I just did to that one answer in this question where the user cut and pasted a section out of a book (1984 I believe), I was able to remove it from my view.

Oh yeah. Even if I agree with them, I don't bother to read it all usually. But more often than not, I don't agree with the long posters. Go figure.
