Hi, You can check with your school and see if they have hosting programs. If they don't ask some of the language teachers if they know any local companies that do hosting exchanges. We had 5 exchange students over a 3 year period from Germany and it was a wonderful experience. It was done through our son's high school. He also went to Germany and made some wonderful friends. Because of his trip he went back 2 other times on his own to stay with his friends there. Good luck to you.

Years ago, I did an exchange along with a group of high school students. I stayed in France for 10 months, and some of the others went to places like Spain, and Italy,
The company I went with is called EF. Thier website is www.EF.com. Good Luck! It is a fabulous experience, with friendships that last a lifetime!

Hello, first of I'd like to thank you for opening your home to a international student. Im a kiwi girl (from New Zealand) who is going on an exchange to Italy next year. A few of the programmes I have researched are:

1) STS - www.sts-education.com
2) EF - I see someones already given you this one!
3) AFS - www.afs.org
4) ASSE - www.asse.com

Good luck

Are you 'buying a baby'? it really is humorous. imagine of it this way, in case you may not have the funds for to dress and feed and look after some different person on your position on your own, then you actually can not have the funds for to be a bunch.

Im sure it varies per region. Go to your local Board of Education and apply. I wanted to this myself, but love my hs and friends too much to leave, although Paris or Budapest sound lovely.
