Anyone who would willingly experience death so someone else could be saved is certainly showing his love for them.
By allowing himself to be put to death by the forces of evil, Jesus legitimately brough about the destruction of the evil world system that had enslaved mankind under Satan, since the beginning of time.
No one had the legal authority to execute a sinless man, let alone the only son of God.
Satan, the prince of this world, was ultimately responsible for the crucifixion, so Satan paid for it ... by losing all the authority that he had gained from Adam's fall.
Now Jesus is the official (and sinless) head of all mankind, and mankind enjoys unparalleled freedom.
That's why Christ's sacrificial death was effective in saving mankind.

Yes, from one viewpoint the death of Jesus was a tragedy. Here was a Man who had gone about doing good and urging people to turn to God—and yet His life came to an abrupt end because some people saw Him as a threat to their way of life.
But from another viewpoint, the death of Jesus was the greatest event in human history—and the reason is because through His death we can be saved. You see, only one thing separates us from God, and that is our sin. But sin is very serious, because it means we aren't only separated from God right now, but we will be separated from Him forever. As the Bible says, "The wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23).
How can our sins be removed? How can the gulf between us and God be bridged? We can't do it ourselves; no matter how good we are, we can never measure up to God's standard, which is perfection. Our only hope is for God to intervene and save us—and that is what happened on Good Friday! By His death on the cross, Jesus became the final sacrifice for our sins. We deserved to die for our sins—but Christ died in our place.
Yes, we call it Good Friday because on that day our salvation became a reality. What happened then was truly good—and Jesus did it out of love. Don't turn away from His love, but by a simple prayer of faith open your heart and life to Him today.

No, it's like that. The point is God sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we may have the opportunity to be able to except Him as our Savior and Lord. The love is also about Jesus enduring the pain that He endured for us whether you believe it or not.He was beaten until blood run from His bones and when He took His last breathe, He hung His hand and died for you and me,this whole world actually. Now tell me that's not love.He gave His life for you and you don't think that's love?No hard feelings but I don't know what you call it but that's love, genuine love.I hope I answered your question. If you will, think about what I said O.K.
God Bless,
Brianna

Romans 5:8 (New King James Version)
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
He gave His life so you could be reconciled to God, not a quick gunshot to the head, but a long cruel death He endured for YOU

It doesn't and the Bible never says that it does. However, when Christ was unjustly crucified, he did display his love for us by taking our sins on the the cross with him.

If you put it that way.. it's a hard nut to crack.
It 's the way some people died on 9/11 ...
in their ultimate pain and suffering
they expressed their love and that went deep.
Jesus had had his speech before the demise.

I doubt very seriously that you will get an answer on this website that will satisfy your curiosity. It is hard to determine whether you are serious or throwing an insulting at someone else that made that statement. If you are really curious, call 1-888-NEEDHIM.

Christ came from the most humble of beginnings and died for the sins of all mankind in the most torturous way to show that his love was beyond human understanding.

Even worse, it was Jesus who suffered, but it was his Father that did it to him! He was the "perfect" sacrifice, but the "aroma" of the sacrifice is the only thing meant for God. Since Jesus wasn't BBQd, the sacrifice was invalid. Not only that, the sacrifices themselves (oil, grain, little critters) were meant to feed the Levites and their families who had no land of their own.
