and he's a year younger (gr 7) and obviously i'm in gr. 8 and he's really funny andsweet and makes me laugh all the time and i really like him but i don't know if i should ask him out cause sometimes he can b really immature but in the funny sorta way and if he rejects me then i'll b the laughing stock of the school how can i kinda point out to him that i like with out having to actually tell him???

You won't be the laughing stock...Thats your insecurities talking...Just ask him , if he says no then hey thats life....You have to learn to take no for an answer..because if you don't you are in for a long ride let me tell you

You can point out that you like him without actually telling him by having a friend do it for you or just making it obvious, but the thing is, it will be the same. He can still reject you even if indirectly. The best way to see it is to not be afraid of it. You could always leak it. Have someone tell one of his friends that they heard or think you like him. It will get back to him. And if he doesn't like you, you could always claim it wasn't true.

You guys are kind of young so I really wouldn't look to much into it. If you think he is too immature, than just don't bother because that will only go against you.
But, if REALLY want to hang out with him, maybe you can ask him to go over your house or something...you will probably want to talk to him about how you like him in private.

In my opinion, you should just wait to date until you get to highschool. If he is really immature then I wouldn't waste my time. Junior high realtionships never last anyway.
