Instead of playing this "name game" why don't you find something nice like a butterfly or your birthstone to wear? You are baiting the guy, setting a trap that he will fall into and the result only will be that you will get mad about it. You want to play games, get a PlayStation. Life is too short and too full of other problems for someone to purposely cause a problem like this and no one will win in the end.

Of course we notice our own names, and if you're our type, we'd like to fantasize that it is the name that really turns you on. However, most guys would be turned off by it, even if it were their name, because it says you already have a boyfriend.

You should wear a necklace with your own name on it.

I would find this extremely tacky...honestly.
I wouldn't ever expect a girl that I was dating or liking to link themselves to me in that way. Even if they wanted to, I can tell you for sure my buddies would be tearing me a new one over something like that.
A guy likely wouldn't even notice to be honest.

if your wearing a necklace with another guys name on it i would think he is your boyfriend and leave you alone. if your boyfriend and girlfriend than having it on is cool. if your not boyfriend and girlfriend yet, i would think it is wierd.
