Don't freak! Dogs are dogs and will eat anything that they can, he probrably just ate something that makes his poop look white. My dog did that once and it wound up being a white crayon. Wait for the dog to poop a few more times before you worry. You should start to see the white poop gradually change over to it's normal color soon. Dont waste your money on the VET at this time.

I owned a Newfoundland that was fed a natural rearing diet. It included grains, dairy, and raw meat with bones (beef, chicken and fish). His stool was white once in a while also and it was never a sign that anything was wrong. It usually happened after eating the chicken as that had the most bones (don't lose your minds, people. RAW bones are not brittle, and are easily consumed). He was the healthiest dog I ever had. Since he lived to be almost 11, and was fed this way his entire life, my breeder must have known what she was talking about.

Did you feed him Bones lately ?Sometimes when dogs eat to much Bones the poop ist getting white .

like dynovw said...it could have been a crayon....my dog ate a hot pink one before and her poo was hot pink. If it goes on for more than 24 hours call the vet. If its old poop its just old....

It means they ate something that comes out the other side white. In Africa, Hyenas eat the bones of dead animals. It is easy to identify their fecal matter because it is white after they've eaten bones.

take him to the vet he could of ate something and its going through him maybe or maybe his inside are coming out did someone shut him in the door or something fall on it

i'd say take him to the vet. he could have worms or other paracites. very dangerous to his health. it'll cost, but it is necessary!
