Your baby is now about 4½ inches long -- the size of an avocado. Her heart is pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day and her body is covered with a layer of downy hair called lanugo.

I found out recently that I am to be a first time grandma in April. I am very excited and found this website with some good guidelines about what is happening throughout pregnancy with the baby.

You should go to:
http://www.pregnancyweekly.com/

and

www.babycenter.com

to sign up for the email newletter. They will send you weekly newsletters on your babies fetal development. Then after you have the baby, you just let them know when the birthday was, and they send you weekly newsletters about how the baby is developing and what to expect. Its nice getting newsletters about whats going on with them. Good Luck!

It all depends on your genetics. Usually it is about the size of a walnut. You can go to babycenter.com and track the size week by week, its really interesting.
