Do not buy or use any kind of cooking wine it is - to put it kindly- i garbage . What happened was that during Prohibition the chefs complained that they couldn't cook w/o wine. The solution was to add an obscene amount of salt to wine so as to render it undrinkable ergo "cooking wine'
Sherry is a fortified wine often in supermarkets in the wine section. Look for something that says " fino " on the label or select the one with the highest alcohol content. Since your cooking with it you don't need to spend a lot of money on the bottle -$8-10

Sherry is a dry bitter wine mostly used in cooking. You can substitute any wine for sherry if you don't want to buy sherry.

You can buy it at most larger grocery stores...no need to go to a specialty store. It would be on the same aisle as cooking oils and cooking wines. It's basically a dry, white wine used primarily for cooking. I don't think it's intended for drinking.

Tio pepe is a dry sherry

Any large supermarket will carry it. You should find it in the same aisle as the vinegars and oils. It's used for cooking a variety of dishes. Good Luck and Happy Cooking!

you can get this at any liquor store like ABC... and it just for cooking it is too dry to drink.
You can always get any sherry to cook with depending on the recipe
