I just spent the longest time typing up the following answer to someone elses question and it was deleted before I could submit.
I am pro-choice. Who am I to tell another woman what she can or can not to with her body? And for that matter, who has the right to tell me what I can do with mine? That is a personal choice, and and issue to be dealt with between me and my God. Who dares to tell a young woman, on welfare, with 3 other mouths to feed, that she has to bring another child into this kind of life!!!
And YES... I do believe that people should be more responsible for their actions. People SHOULD practice safe sex, and use birth control. But you know what?? S**t happens. And unless you are willing to feed, clothe, provide shelter and a loving home for, and pay for my childs college education... keep your laws OFF MY BODY.

I totally agree with those who say that the young mother on welfare should be more responsible and not get herself pregnant again in the first place. I am all for birth control! Escecially in cases like that.
But just imagine for a moment that it's you? What would you really do?
I do agree with the point that there is another body involved, not just the mothers. It's a very difficult decision.

And Lindsey Lovato makes an excellent point:
there are hundreds of thousands of babies that are put up for adoption that stay in the system their whole lives--never having parents?
This is something to really consider.

Pro Life There are so many ways to defend abortion, I don't want to piss anyone off...... Most unwanted pregnancy is due to lack of Education. I myself was a teenage mother, I had to deal with people staring at me and telling me I was too young. I was faced with a second pregnancy while on birth control, My husband wanted me to have an abortion,I was aken to a clinic to be more educated about it. They gave me clinical answers this was not what I was looking for I wanted the truth. I was not given the truth. The truth is....... not a clean medical procedure, that leaves you with no worries, The truth is at www.abort73.com if you dare to educate yourself this is the site to do it at. At least then you will know what it is all really about, Hiding behind laws, and the same old stories.
Some of the statistics are startling
55% of abortions take place without the minors parents even knowing.
8% of woman who recieve an abortion have never used contreception.
there are 767 abortions for every 1000 live births in NYC.
only 19% of Abortions are Teenagers.
Only 1% are 15 or younger.
48% of woman who recieve an abortion have already had one.
14% of all abortions use public money from state.
Yes there are thousands of Babies without homes, BUT there have been 39 MILLION abortions from 1973-2000, Almost 40 million people are missing from our planet, Why? money?, Jobs, School, Parents. If you don't believe me take a look your self The videos on this website are now being shown during sex education , in your childrens schools, They have changed minds, of Abortion Dr, movie stars, and people who were once pro choice here is an exerpt fron Abort73.com read and then check out the site for yourself!

"It is incorrect to say that biological data cannot be decisive...It is scientifically correct to say that an individual human life begins at conception."

"I have learned from my earliest medical education that human life begins at the time of conception."
Dr. Jerome LeJeune

"After fertilization has taken place a new human being has come into being. [It] is no longer a matter of taste or opinion...it is plain experimental evidence. Each individual has a very neat beginning, at conception."

"By all the criteria of modern molecular biology, life is present from the moment of conception."
Dr. Watson A. Bowes
University of Colorado Medical School
"The beginning of a single human life is from a biological point of view a simple and straightforward matter – the beginning is conception."
The official Senate report reached this conclusion:
Physicians, biologists, and other scientists agree that conception marks the beginning of the life of a human being - a being that is alive and is a member of the human species. There is overwhelming agreement on this point in countless medical, biological, and scientific writings.
This, of course, should come as no surprise since the American Medical Association (AMA) declared as far back as 1857 (referenced in the Roe. v. Wade opinion) that "the independent and actual existence of the child before birth, as a living being” is a matter of objective science. They deplored the “popular ignorance...that the foetus is not alive till after the period of quickening.” Doctors knew it during the 1800's and doctors know it today. Human life begins at conception.
Thanks for reading God bless.....And by the way I did not abort my son he is now 10 years Old, a straight A student, and A Math Genius! Thank God

I see your point but why should a innocent baby be murdered because it's mother is irresponsible. It's funny you never mentioned adoption!! The mother with 3 kids who keeps on getting pregnant is copping out! I was pro-life a very long time ago until I grew up and realized how selfish people are, have you seen these pictures of aborted babies!!! It's a horrible site I can tell you. I personally think a woman on welfare with 3 or 4 kids should be sterilized BY LAW!

"Who dares to tell a young woman, on welfare, with 3 other mouths to feed, that she has to bring another child into this kind of life!!!"
She doesn't HAVE to have sex. She has the option to make an adoption plan if she chooses to have unprotected sex/her birth control method fails.
I am pro life. It is not the baby's fault that as you so eloquently put it "S**T happens" and the baby should not have to give up his life.
My taxes ARE paying for that welfare mom's kids to eat. There ARE programs that I pay for that provide clothing, food, shelter, and options to women in crisis pregnancies.
I don't want to put laws on a woman's body, I just think the BABY has rights too. Human rights. I think abortion has 2 victims, one dead, one wounded. Every woman I know who had an abortion says it was very emotionally painful, and several of them wish they had made another choice or had other options at the time.
I realize not everyone shares my convictions, and I'm certainly not anyone you would see outsode the Planned Parenthood with a bomb. That's just as wrong! However, one of these days when my own kids are grown, if you call a crisis pregnancy center that provides free medical care and clothes to moms in crisis, you just might hear my voice on the other end of the line, because one of my dreams is to work HELPING young women who feel like their only choice is to kill their baby, and offer them another way.

Pro-life
Who am I to tell another HUMAN BEING they cannot live because I might have to change the way I am living to care of him or her when I made the decision to have unprotected sex.
These are babies guys, not a problem or an inconvenience.
Innocent babies, they didn't do anything. You just can't face the fact that YOU did it and YOU have to live for someone else.
It is the MOST self-centered decision anyone can make. PERIOD.
You better thank God your mom chose life.
I will be the voice for those that cannot speak for themselves.

I am Pro-Life. Abortion is murder and there is no way it can be an excusable action.
Just to respond to what you said....who dares to tell a young woman on welfare with 3 other mouths to feed to continue to have sex and get pregnant? Know what I mean?
I can understand being in dire situations and not knowing what to do and feeling helpless. And I agree there should be many more federal programs meant to help pregnant women and single mothers make it, but I do feel that people (men and women included) need to take responsibility for their actions and prevent engaging in behaviors that would cause them to become pregnant in the first place.

I'm pro-life because I believe an unborn baby is just as valuable as a baby who is already born and it's murder when an abortion occurs. I try not to attack the opinions of a pro- choice person because I understand they don't believe the 2 babies are the same and to them it isn;t murder. I don't think a pro-choice person should attack a pro-life person because you should understand that to us it isn't about a woman's right to choose, because we think no one has the right to choose murder. We are arguing 2 different things here because our basic belief systems are different. I think instead of us arguing all the time we should all band together and try to figure out a way to lower the number of unwanted pregnancies to begin with. That is the real problem here that we should all agree on.

i am pro- choice. I never thought i would be because my mom had an abortion and i hated her for it, then i ended up in a difficult position and had to make the decision of going through with a high risk pregnancy and putting my life and my childs life at risk. I made the most difficult decision of my life and had an abortion. I was 11wks along and sick everyday. It haunts me everyday but i know deep down that i did the right thing.

I'm pro-choice, too. However, that choice should extend to *everyone* not just the mother over the life of her baby. The father must agree to want to kill his child, and the child must agree to want to be killed.
Otherwise, it's merely one woman playing God over the life of her child. Death can't be a solution simply because one human is "inconvenient" in the life of others. That's what terrorism is all about.

I see all these answer its murder, it murder!! Bottom line whatever decision I make, its between me and my God, and all this judgment, the only one should be judging is God. And if my God is a loving God and a forgiving God. Who are we to be so judgmental. I do not want the government to tell me what to do with my body. Personally I am against abortion, but every women should have a choice, and it isn't up to us to make that decision. But that person individual choice.
