I was told to go away and lose some weight first !! I think this was to prove my determination. I went back 2 weeks later after losing half a stone and was given reductil, to be honest I have found the side effects more hassle than they are worth and I am now trying to lose weight without them, I have lost a further 8lb in 4 weeks and have introducted the gym to my life..... I have still got a long way to go but I am trying. http://www.justgiving.com/slimjoe

Diet pills are not the way to lose weight, the weight will only come back when you are off them and in the mean time they are very bad for your system. Try the all natural Isagenix program and you will lose the weight you want and become healthy in the mean. For more info www.healthexperts.isagenix.com

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. This boosts your metabolism and raises natural ephadrine, the hormone of which burns fat. According to Jeya Henry, professor of human nutrition from Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon in your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 percent!

Sometimes a drug called dexidrine is prescibed for weight loss, but it is highly addictive and can cause insomnia. Unless you are dangerously overweight a responsible doctor will not prescribe it. Good Luck.

i had an argument as the doc told me i wasn't overweight enough (5'2''/ 14.5st), so I told him I would give up my job and slob in front of TV eating, not paying taxes until I was heavy enough and then he would give me them..... noted on my file I was confrontational but I got them. I have tried both Xenical and Reductil. Both worked at first but then stopped, I have joined a vibrogym and found that to be the best thing. 3 x 15 mins per week equates to 3.5 hours in a conventional gym

People who plan their weekly meals tend to be more successful at losing weight than those that don’t. Plan your dishes to feature healthy carbs such as sweet potato and wholegrain pasta, green vegetables and lean proteins, buy all of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to nibble on out or order in.

Go bland. Plain, basic, unseasoned food such as barbequed chicken, plain rice and a nude baked potato are nutritious but your palette will tire of all of them quickly, unlike salty moreish prepared food, which keeps you snacking and piling about the pounds.

Chewing your food thoroughly is not going to make digestion easier, but will allow your body time to recognise when it is actually full, thus preventing overindulging.
