I already know this girl. I went and made an e-mail account on Yahoo for her, and already has mail in it's box of some of my favorite music videos and a greeting to her.
Is this too personal, or is it OK?

If you already know her pretty well, it is a relly cool idea (I would dig it). If you barely know her and have just talked a couple times, too personal (and a little freaky).

I would think it was really sweet. Nothing really creepy there. You're just being friendly by giving her some music videos and a greeting. I think it's a good way to break the ice. Maybe you'll have some things in common. Good luck!
