Are true brits being taken advantage of by non tax paying illegal immegrants,?

which political party should i vote if i want to be supported in being proud of being british and feel respected in my own country. It seems you cant be british and proud anymore incase it upsets someone who doesn't have the right to be in this country anyway???

I honestly feel that the indigenous people of this country are getting the shitty end of the stick.

It comes to something when pensioners who laid their lives on the line for this country in WWII are freezing to death in their damp council flats because they can't pay the heating bills, and decent workin families who fall on hard times through illness or unemployment are evicted from their homes and left to languish in B&Bs by councils which don't care, yet any asylum seeker who doesn't give a flying feck for this country can come here and be given a home, benefits, money to buy a car and a TV etc.

A friend of ours was beaten unconcious by a Pakistani immigrant neighbour (only recently come over) in a row over the family cat. The police won't touch it as the Pakistani guy brought out the "race" card and said he'd been racially provoked. If a white guy had beaten up a Pakistani guy it would have been front page news.

I'm a white Welsh girl who studied classical Indian dance from a young age so I have never been racist or against other cultures, but even my Indian friends agree that this country has gone to the dogs and you are better off being on benefits than working.

Plus it seems fine for some Muslim hate preacher to get on a soapbox in London and rant about "Death to the Western infidels etc" but anyone who tries to celebrate their "Britishness" is accused of offending people.


My family have been Labour voters for generations but to be honest if the old Labour Guard like Aneurin Bevan could see the state of this country today they'd be spinning in their graves. None of us would vote Labour at the next election. If things don't get better I'd be tempted towards BNP (but don't tell my mum she'd be horrified!)

I'd also like to know why Cardiff is full of Somalis driving round in brand new flash spanking cars and wearing expensive designer gear when there are British people struggling to put food on the table.

Illegal immigrants get nothing mate - try and ignore the kind of garbage printed by the Daily (hate) Mail.

Britain cannot grow it's indigenous population (it's declining actually) - we need migration to strengthen our economy and, as a whole, I am comfortable that migrants to our land more than pay their way.

I agree with many of the people on here who think that the biggest p1ss takers are the lazy buggers who could work but don't or, worse still, the ones who defraud the State.

I kind of take your last point though - even though the majority of people who live and work here probably have the right to be here, I do think political correctness has gone too far...

If you are proud of being British, a good start would be to learn proper punctuation in your own language first. Also if you have any spelling problems, NOT THAT I AM SAYING THAT YOU HAVE, you could use a spell checker. Sorry if I make you feel ridiculed, but that's the way a lot of us Brits make other nationals feel. By the way, vote for The Raving Looney Party.

You did nothing towards that fact, what you could do something about and be proud of is a more generous attitude towards the rest of humanity that where not so lucky !

I personally don't think so ..Okay admittedly a small amount of taxes are not being collected from the illegal work force.. i wont say there are only illegal immigrants.who don't pay taxes..what i would say is that 99.5 % of tax revenues losses due to none payers.are from what you describe as true Brits.those who work cash in hand . your small business man who constantly looking for ways to avoid paying tax .the royal family .ministers in the government.possibly you been one of them.I am sure given the chance you would grab it.. illegal immigrants in UK is

yawn...how many times is this question going to be asked. didn't get that job -blame the immigrants...didn't get an appointment at the hospital..blame the immigrants blah blah blah.

The whingers really do not bother looking at the facts. YOUR country is dependant on immigrants..imagine life with no doctors /nurses...net domestic deficit ..investment pulled away to other countries...crash in jobs and the housing market....inflation will be rife. and the pound will get weaker. DId you realise that will be one of the consequences. You'll save tax, because there will will be no jobs, no pay and hence no direct tax...but indirect tax will surge...the country needs something from somewhere.

I do wonder who you blame once the immigrants are gone...yourself!!!! If this ever happens....believe me you will be financially, economically and perhaps even physically a LOT LOT worse off.

If you want something better...here's a secret.... work hard, keep your nose clean, respect and be respected and you'll enjoy life for what it is , you 'll find out that life isn't so bad if you stop judging others and realise whats good for you doesn't have to be as much or as little as the next person.

bottom line ...this country's economy will fall to pieces without immigrants...and guess what ,then you can blame the immigrants for getting out due to small minded petty insecurities of the people who asked them to leave

This country has became a soft touch for illegal immigrants and they damn well know that. Whatever party gets in will continue to tolerate the situation. Look at all the immigrants that were let in through the 80s when the tories were in power. Sadly I think it's a going to be a long time before anything is done and sadly it will be way too late.I agree with your statement about people easily taking offence, people are scared to open their mouths in their own country, would this be the case if we went to their countrys? I think not!

I think that was the same argument that the founders of the Nazi party used to justify their actions. Be careful not to confuse nationalism with racism and intolerance, there are too many people who attack the British way of life without remembering that we are no different than the rest of the world in that we gain so much more from being multi-cultural as opposed to secular.

Most certainly, but unless the government brings in strict policies about the illegal immigrants it aint gonna get any better. All political parties over here (yes I am British) say one thing and do something totally different. I don't trust any of them further than I could spit!
