Eye contact is the best thing. The way you look at him will tell him a lot.
Look at him, stare for a few secs, not to long, just long enough for him to catch you, smile a little as you turn your head.
He will know you have interest in him.

You kids are just full of these questions. Dear, get on with it and just say hello to him and proceed from there. This is really a no brainer and not complicated in the least. Quit trying to make a soap opera out of it!

guys don't take hints well. but if you don't want to straight out tell him i'd ask him if he want to do something and just start hanging out and be a little affectionate or flirty on your dates.
