It tastes like sex, its crunchy, it makes great soup, it takes more calories to digest than it contains. Plus it makes a great plant if you stick the end in water and plant it when the roots grow!!!! Marvellous vegetable!!!!!

Celery is one of the greatest vegetables on the planet! It's one, if not the only negative calorie food, which means that it takes more calories to eat and digest it than it has to begin with. It's one of the main ingredients in mirepoix (which is onions, carrots and celery), which is used to flavor soups, stocks and stews. It's a great snack with peanut butter or sour cream and onion dip. It's also one of the main vegetables on a crudite tray, which is basically a whole bunch of vegetables (celery, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and cherry tomatoes) all neatly arranged around a bowl of dip. Most stuffings call for celery, which lends its flavor and texture. so celery has a lot of uses. Don't underestimate this vegetable, my friend. It's great and it has a point in the vegetable world.

Eating celery actually burns carbs and calories. A serving of celery only contains half a calorie so it's very good if you're dieting, diabetic, or just health conscious in general.

Celery is a great vegetable that can be used alone or in combination as an additional seasoning agent or vegetable to other dishes, like salads, stuffings, stews, soups and sauces. For eating alone and hot, I prefer braised celery where you actually partially fry the celery sticks in some butter, and salt and papper to taste.

I believe there are many uses of celery. For one, Chewing raw celery sticks helps to freshen breath. I've been told it improves the odor of other bodily fluids too.

It gives a mild flavor and a crunch when used raw, like in a salad, and a mild flavor when cooked. My mom put it in the stuffing for Thanksgiving. And it is yummy when used raw, cut into sticks, and filled with peanut butter, flavored cream cheese spread, or flavored cheese spread, or pimento spread.. It has almost 0 calories, it fills you up when on a diet, and is good roughage.
That's the point! :) Try it, the heart is especially mild and tasty.

There escentially is no point.. Celery has virtually no calories and is just water... Its like eating nothing...You feel a little fuller but do not injest anything good for your body...this is why anorexics eat a lot of it.
