I began answering questions on this site because I thought it would be a good way to connect with other christians, share viewpoints, help someone if I could. It seems this site is more for jokes and foolishess than for anything spiritual or religious. I just wonder is there anyone out there that is sincere and really interested in asking & answering these questions? Not only christians, any of you guys & gals, does anyone care?

I ask and answer seriously on this site. My three main purposes are to (in no particular order):
1) Learn other viewpoints
2) Challenge current Christian thinking, since I find much of it has become silliness (I am a Christian, by the way).
3) Bring a bit of appreciation into the midst of all the negativity.

Thank you for even asking that question because you're definitely right.I came on this site also to meet serious people about the word of God but more and more everyday it seems as if this site is a "Who's the funniest or Who can make the stupidest comment or something." There are a couple of serious people on here though.Stay on the site and I guarantee that you will find some respectful and serious people just as we are .Also, the devil is just trying to distract us from doing what God has meant for us to do by allowing those people to come on here and type whatever just to be ignorant. Plus,God is the one who gives the devil any type of permission to do what he does to distract His followers just to see if He can trust us to do what we are supposed to.Keep that in mind.

I felt the same way...But I came on the site to lift up the name of Jesus to nonbelievers...I found that some "Christians" were negative and rude. However as I continue to answer some questions I do see some true believers that are taking the time just as I am to help others see Jesus. Keep your chin up and Face towards Jesus and you will be a light...so yes I do care.

Yes and if you watch there are people who really need help. I do ask this since I have asked questions myself, and it is that you do not put a spin on the scripture you use cuz it just gives us all a bad name. There are plenty of atheists (poor lonely people that they are) out there who will take a well meant but a question with error in it and make a big thing of it, so I ask you try to keep your answers pure and keep away from areas of denominational conflict like say eternal security and if you use one of those state it as opinion then I think our witness will be more effective. Welcome aboard.

Yes, we are here. Not so much time to be on here cause we are busy in the "real world". However, this is not the place to connect with other Christians; this is the place to make a statement and be heard. Although you may connect with Christians here you should be making that connection in Church.

yes, there are several. It's easy to get discouraged by some that constantly carp and pick, and there are two or three who are downright hateful, but if you ignore the silly ones and look at all the questions, you will find some good questions and thoughful views. I try to ignore most of the nasty ones, but every once in a while I just leave it for a day or two.

I am! I just think that the jokesters are more vocal than the Christians. I know personally I don't answer questions just to get points it is my hope that I can help someone by my answers. I think most of the jokesters are just out for points.

Why do you think this site is for you to connect with other Christians? There must be millions of sites for that purpose. As far as I know Yahoo is non-denominational.
Just because I don't believe in your brand of foolishness doesn't make me insincere. I care.
