Let's say you don't know someone too well, but in a spontaneous
moment you slept together. Afterward, you talk about it and he says that you should slow down and get to know each other better.

Did it freak him out? Does he see a potiental relationship? Was it bad sex? Or...something else, what do you think?

(Oh yeah, and this isn't my situation, it has happened to a friend and I was curious to see what you guys thought.)

I'm not a guy but I think he sees a potential relationship and it was really really good sex.

He wants to get to know her better.

Not a guy, but maybe he does want to get to know her. Because even though guys like quick sex they usually get freaked out when it happens too fast with someone they like. So its good that he actually wishes to slow things down and try to get to know her like a person instead of asking for seconds like a jerk.

It may not have freaked him out, but it may have caused him to realise that things should slow down. It only took a spontaneous moment for him to sleep with someone, and he's realised that fact. It also doesn't mean the sex was bad either.
Actually, he's smart by suggesting that things slow down and they get to know each other better.

Probably freaked him out a little ..yes. The fact that he wants to slow it down and get to know each other is sweet..and a good sign. If he didn't care he'd just keep wanting to sleep with her for just the sex...or if it was 'bad sex' he'd just move on to the next gal.

It sounds like too much happened too soon. He either is scared about the relationship or lost interest. The first isn't such a bad thing, relationships take work and he just wants to know this girl. The second is for the man who just wants to conquer!

Most woman cannot have casual sex, or maybe he feels you will want more and suggests that friendship start up to get to know you. He may have been in a sexual relationship and not wanted that right away and ended up broke up,

there are alot of factors,, obviously you were both sexually attracted to each other, or you wouldnt have bumped uglies,, practice safe sex always,, there are alot of STDs out there

Ok...for starters, with guys there's no such thing as "bad sex", so put that out of your mind right off.

My guess is either a) he's scared/freaked (signs of inexperience), b) he's worried you'll get all "relationshippy" on him or c) he only wanted the sex, and nothing else.

My guess? C.

Hope this helped.

it does happen in today's world. Best to just keep talking about it before letting it happen again. Boys tend to get very tight lipped about getting involved too early, and based upon what you described, could very well be the case.

First off he already had his cheese cake. Second he's probably thinking if he got it that fast how many others before him got their piece. It sounds like he just wanted a taste not the whole cake.
