It is a small TV is w DVD player, and has never malfunctioned before. All plugs are secure.

If it is a small TV then my advice is load it into your car and make for the nearest repair shop ! it still could be under warranty ! if not ask for an estimate to repair it !. I know that we sometimes try to explain how you might fix it your self but I am afraid you have not provided enough detail on the symptoms !!!

If you had a storm, lightning could have blown the fuse. Other than that it could be too expensive to mess with. Labor rates can eat up the cost of repairing a cheap TV.

Happened to us and the tv was only about 3 years old, had to replace it! Too expensive to have someone fix!
