He sorta makes fun of me and then laughs at me, I sit with him at lunch, and we taLk about stupid things. He says he doesn't like a lot of people. He barely likes anyone. We get along and are friends.
I can't tell when he's joking around, or when he means it. How do I tell him that I like him without straight out telling him? But its the same thing with another girl to, but he says he doesnt like her. I can't tell if he likes me too, or hates me and is just trying to be nice to me.

The fact that he's told you he dislikes this other girl might be a sign he holds you in high regard. Unfortunately, you can't "let him know" without telling him or getting someone else to tell him. If he confides in you.. chances are he likes you i'd say. Go for it!

i think he likes u a lot but tries to make it seem like he just wants to be friends sometimes. when he says he likes another girl it means that he does like u but he is about to not like u anymore and go to another girl because he thinks that u dont like him so he thinks he doesnt have a chance with u. so now what u should do is tell him that u like him either in a note or to his face (but not by your friends telling him) and he will see that he does have a chance with u and he will stop liking other girls and like u. i have had tons of experience with this stuff and i know what guys really mean when they say stuff to girls so trust me and tell him that u like him because it probably will work.

Next time you are eating lunch. Just ask him would he like to go to the mall and hang out for a while. Or hey I heard there is this really cool movie playing at the theater. would you lik to go and see it.

The only way you will ever know is to just tell him. He might like you just as much, but the goofing off is just a way to cover his shyness or insecurity. Tell him you like him and go from there. You have nothing to lose.

With some friends, we just accept them as they are. With others, we may feel differently. He doesn't sound as though he's really all that mature, and may be harboring problems, especially since he tells you there aren't many people that he likes. Perhaps he doesn't even like himself. Be wary.

honestly, any guy that doesn't treat you right..... well don't give them the time of day... figure out if you like him for him, hopefully not just for looks... annd if you do still like him, realize the type of guy he is annnnd if he hates so many people, then why would you want to be with someone that hates everyone??

It sounds like he likes you, but that he doesn't want it to be obvious, or just doesn't want you to know. Throw a few hints his way and see how he responds. If he shows interest, ask him if he wants to do something sometime.

this is called emotional or verbal abuse. Get away from him, you can do better. Don't do what I did nad stay for 16 years and 4 kids before I wised up and realized he was mean not funny.
