Onion soup dry mix is a nice seasoning to mix into the burger meat. You can also try sprinkling season salt in it. Check out Tastefullysimple.com for some great ideas and seasonings to purchase.

A lot of people put either Garlic powder or onion powder, However, the best burger I've ever had was one where I put a pat of butter in the middle of the burger and then cooked it. The juices just pour out of it, and it's delicious. Another way is to put a pat of blue cheese in the middle (or actually, anything you can think of that floats your boat).

Nutmeg is the spice that I like to add in the ground beef.
400 g ground beef
1 onion (finely chopped)
1 glove of garlic (finely chopped) or 1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 egg (beat)
salt and pepper
50 g breadcrumbs
cooking oil
cooking wine
grounded nutmeg (a little bit)
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1) Heat oil with frying pan over low heat, stir fry the onion with garlic & salt, add cooking wine, stir occasionally till the onion turn to transparent, drain and cool down.
2) Mix the onion, breadcrumbs, egg, ground beef & cornstarch in a big mixing bowl, add salt & nutmeg to taste, combine well.
3) Divide the meat into 4 portions, flatten them to hamburger shape
4) Grill or pan fry the hamburger, top with tomato slice, onion rings, cucumber pickle slices, ... etc
Enjoy!

I like a little salt, a good amount of pepper, and a very large dollop of Worchestershire sauce on each side. I do not find a need to blend it in before hand and these seem to premeate throughout. And I looove me a good hamburger! Make sure that you sear each side before actually cooking it, so that the juices are kept in, too.
My husband and boys love them just as much as grilled on the BBQ! They even say that they are better than Fuddruckers!

Put crumbled bleu cheese on top to melt just before you take them off the grill - it really adds a lot of flavor!

Garlic Salt after it's made, or Garlic Power while your kneading the meat.
The absolute BEST is actually powdered Onion Soup/Broth mix (the cheap kind in an envelope), while you're kneading.
