I showed both my Voter Registration Card and my driver's license, and they were not good enough. My driver's license has a PO box as the address, and they wanted a second ID with an address matching the one on my Voter Registration Card. I had to go home and get a bank statement and go back to vote. I wonder how many people just gave up and didn't vote.

TLJaguar, it was a mailbox at one of those places like Mailboxes & More. I have lived in Phoenix almost 20 years - maybe they changed the rules since I got my license. Don't accuse someone of lying unless you are certain of all the facts.

It even says on the front page of the Tribune, acceptable forms of voter ID are a valid driver's license OR voter registration card. Apparently there is a lot of misinformation being given out.
