I'm assuming this is a theoretical question, unfortunately most people on here don't usually figure that out. If I was faced with a situation where I witnessed a crime and reporting it would save numerous lives but end my own I would have to report it. I am just not the type of person that could live with myself if I caused an innocent person's death. The way I was raised was to hold myself with some degree of integrity, if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything. If you live life in a manner to only help yourself, to protect yourself then you just perpetuate the cycle. If that is the kind of life you are living you have to ask yourself is it really worth it?

If I was a witness of a crime >>YES I would report it to save others lives ,and then ask to be under a witness protection program. Just remember most people who are witnesses may get threatened but 9 times out of ten nothing ever comes from it,some criminals like to bluff people an make them fearful but I like to lean on my own beliefs an hold my head up knowing I did the right thing trying to bring them down.

Well that depends. If your life is at risk for saying something, but yet other's lives are at risk for you not saying a word, then you'll actually be putting other people's lives at risk, because you know what happened and you know what the person is capable of. So i would get help. And you do have options for you security. You can also get protection.

I would report it. It's the moral thing to do, God wants you to do right, and it would make me feel sick inside to think other people were hurt while all I could think of was myself.

Saving everyone's life.
It just might save my son's life...his is only five years in the making and while I don't like the idea of me dying, better me than him.
