He is probably dealing with it in his own way...give him time to assemble himself to the idea. When he is, if ever, ready to discuss it with you, he will approach you.

You've probably just blown your dad's mind. This is a big thing for a parent to swallow, and he is dealing with his emotions and what he thinks and feels. If he is against this type of lifestyle choice, this might be even harder. I would give him a little time to cool off and think things out, then approach him and calmly, (notice I said calmly) tell him how you feel. You the "I feel" wording. Ask him how he feels. Tell him you love him, and want him to share his thoughts with you. You never know, you might learn something of how your dad thinks and feels. Remember, a lot of men have trouble with emotional conversation and issues, so be patient, and in the meantime, you might write him a little note and tell him you love him.

Try to have a conversation with him, without forcing the issue. Start by talking about something else and try to get to the topic. If he doesn't want to talk about it, tell him that you loving very much and need his love to be happy. Asking to support you on this, because it wasn't your choice. You were born bi. Good luck.

Tell your dad that you need to talk to him once and only once about this if he never wants to again. Then just ask him if it hurts him to know that you are bi. Tell him you love him and never meant to hurt him by telling him you were just trying to be honest with him.

let him be. he knows now, but he doesn't want to talk to his little girl about her sexuality because it makes him feel uncomfortable. he may not care that you're bi (and that's a really GOOD thing, because he could have been an asshole to you about it, so the fact that he has said nothing is a good thing, trust me lol) but it doesn't mean he doesn't care about you. that's all that matters, he loves you he just doesnt want to talk to his baby about her sex life.

Well, don't worry, let him think about it, maybe he had no hint about it, and he's kind of shocked...
Give him some time, you act normal..and then find the right time to talk to him and ask his opinion, don't try to pressure things, if for u maybe it was very hard to tell him, then imagine if it's not hard for him...

good luck...

I think he does, the thing that most parents in today's world don't know exactly what to do in situations like this one, they've never seen stuff like this before...I mean I don't know what were you expecting? You are lucky that he didn't freak out.

All Dads care. ask him to sit down and talk with you because it's bothering you. Or ask your mom to ask him for you.

It sounds like you already have. I know if my kid came to me and announced that they'd decided to become a degenrate pervert I'd ask them if they needed help packing.
