By sending naughty people to hell, is god making Satans Army Stronger? Should he not just keep the sinners in a room to the side of heaven out of harms way?

I don't believe in Hell personally. But since the question says "would" he let us go to The Devil, as opposed to "does" (suggesting a possibly fun hypothetical question, I'm going to play Devil's Advocate here. Literally.

I've never had anything against the idea of Purgatory - a place "sinners" go to after death to learn the error of their ways. This doesn't have to be a place of literal torture. However, I can imagine it as a realm that is a pretty crappy place, and where one cannot escape until they've come to terms with the error of their ways.

I have an idea about Heaven - not a strongly held one though, but an amusing one. For me personally, God is not God unless he (1) knows everything (2) can do anything. That is just what it means to be God - to me. What if part of the rules, part of what it means to be Heaven is that it is a place where there can be no suffering. That all suffering and torment that has accumulated on your soul in life must be rent from your in death so that you can physically enter Heaven. Such a place might seem like Hell. This system absolves God from being vengeful and spiteful, which is after all, the most unbelievable part about Hell's existance (if you accept God as real, and a loving omnipotent father, that is).

So those are two possible reasons why he might let us go - (1) Wants everyone to really understand why good is good and bad is bad, and just keeps the soul in limbo until it is enlightened. Or (2) Heaven needs souls free from guilt, suffering, and sorrow - and Hell is merely the strainer of said pain.

Eh, what do I know? I'm just a writer. :)

Are you conscious of Isaish 40 5:7? God claims he created each and every thing. God created the "devil," God created organic failures, created death, created each and every difficulty in accordance to the Bible. you may under no circumstances say the devil is tormenting each person because there's no info. All there is is your God saying he made each and every thing. homicide count number: God - 33 million devil - 10 (interest's relations with permission from God!) devil isn't someone to be afraid of. even as human beings ask something of any demon or devil, quite some them receives a reaction. One reaction might want to nicely be knocking issues over and the mattress shaking. So i guess you're conscious they are actual, yet have they harm you yet? No. yet they are stronger than you. What do you need to educate your God exists? Do you ever see your God in a position to do such issues as knocking issues over and the mattress shaking? if so, why did not you imagine it develop into him fairly of devil? Why do you instantly away difficulty devil has this skill and God isn't doing it, yet you imagine God has the skill to provide up the devil?

firstly, the original hebrew and greek words that are commonly translated as hell are sheol and hades. they acurately translate as the grave, not a place of firey torment. ecclesiastes 9:5 says the dead are conscious of nothing, so even if there were a place of firey torment, the dead wouldn't know about it.
secondly, romans6:7,23 show that when you die you have paid for your sin with your life. john 5:28,29 show there will be a resurrection of both righteous and unrighteous people. revelation 20:12 shows the dead are to be judged by their deeds, but if their sins are already paid for, it must be their deeds after the resurrection. any sins committed after the ressurection are to be judge upon and either everlasting life is the reward, or everlasting destruction or unconsciousness in other words, is the punishment.
and Jehovah is love and has never brought hardships upon humans. only humans following satans way of ruling have done that. so Jehovah would never do anything that strengthened satan as this would be an unloving thing to put upon his people.

God doesn't want to send anyone to Hell but some people just can't seem to do what they need to in order to be saved. Then again others really do not deserve to be on earth, they certainly shouldn't be allowed to bask in the glory of Heaven.

God cannot lose. It does not matter if all evil goes there. In fact it is meant to go there. We wont be having a war when we are in heaven against people in hell. As God can destroy hell and the devil at his choice.

All religions state that God cannot lose.

God doesn't "send" sinners to hell. They make the choice, He just honors their choice. Also, that's not making satans army stronger, the people in hell don't join satan's army, they are in the places of torment weeping and wailing and gnashing their teeth in endless desperation.

God lets you do whatever you want.
He teaches you what's right, and lets you choose.
That's what all good parents do.
If he forced you to do something, you wouldn't learn.

Does that make sense?

Oh, and as for Hell, it IS a room outside of heaven, just out of harm's way. The people there will bask in the glory of heaven, though it will be a distant light. You can live in a sort of heaven or hell on Earth, too, if you choose. Same concept.

Heaven's great because you're RIGHT THERE with God. Hell is the recognition of your unworthiness to be with God, which is what keeps you from going there. It's definitely sad, but not the kind of torture you might have been thinking about.

I hope you go to heaven. Get in good with God. Listen to Him and he'll teach you a lot about what heaven's like so you can get ready to go in.

You act like satan will get stronger because he has more with him . Hell was prepared first for satan and his followers but it grows to accomidate the sinners that are disobediant . He doesn't want you or anyone else to go there but where else can He put the disorderly and stiff necked people . He prepared it before any of us was born and He judges righteously . Satan will lose in the end and God will reward those who obey Him . God bless you and your family .....

The things is we are all sinners. And don't tell me that you aren't. We've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That's why God made a way for us to be with him in Heaven through his Son Jesus. It's our choice to either follow God, or Satan. Sadly people rather follow Satan for some weird reason.

Why will you people not understand that God does not send or let anyone go to hell. We, ourselves, do that by the wrong choices we make in this life. That is why it is so important to pray every day for guidance, so that we may make the right choices.
